Kuro kept activating and deactivating barriers. Sparks were flying from attacks hitting them. With the agility of both of these combatants it would seem to the normal person as if it all was happening in a blur. But as well as it seemed Kuro was keeping up, he lost his footing after one dodge and accidentally left and opening as such, a mistake he does not usually make. Perhaps it was the pressure of fighting with a Death Scythe, but either way all he knew was that a scythe was inches away from his face. If Mr. Evans did not pull it back, these would be his last moments.

A little blood flowed down over his eye. "Yeah... Just a scratch." Kuro replied. Although there was a bit of blood, he was right, the skin was cut a bit deep on his eyebrow but it would easily heal after several days.

He then sat back on some rubble, exhausted after using quite a bit of energy for the fight. "Stupid rubble could have cost me my life.." he mumbled to himself as he thought over the fight in his head.

"I'm fine..." Kuro said as he got up, still obviously a bit exhausted. "I need to get ready to go out on my mission anyways." He began slowly stumbling on his way out of the training grounds.
